Supervised by Pro Tester Takashi Watanabe: Recreate Plankton Drifting in the Water!
To achieve a "match-the-action" presentation for plankton drifting in the water, a worm with high water-resistance (braking power) to catch the current is essential.
The Brakin Beam exerts powerful braking force thanks to its distinctive arms on the head section. Even in faint currents, it catches the water to produce the natural "swaying motion" unique to plankton—a lingering suspension effect that directly translates to higher catch rates during plankton pattern fishing.
While achieving this floating sensation previously required using lighter jigheads, the strong braking power allows you to use heavier jigheads. This increases casting distance while still enabling an ultra-slow retrieval technique.

Back and Belly Slits (2.0-inch)
The Brakin Beam 2 features slits on both its back and belly, making top-and-bottom orientation instantly recognizable while helping the worm fold effortlessly during bites for seamless hookups.
Designed to optimize the "floating sensation" that Tester Watanabe prioritizes above all else, the two arms grab the water to enable an ultra-slow fall.
