Katana Dangan is built for reaction bites. Its bullet-shaped head with flat sides produces a tight, darting action on every twitch — perfect for the short, rhythmic jerks during the retrieve that trigger aggressive strikes from Matanbaka, Talakitok etc.

The flat bottom and sides work like a brake, keeping the fall slow even in heavier weights. That means you can cast far and still glide your lure slowly over shallow coral reefs, staying right in the strike zone instead of snagging the bottom.

Sitting between the subtle Katana Round and the aggressive Katana Inazuma, Dangan strikes the perfect balance of dart and slow fall — a true all-rounder for light saltwater game.

This is a fine-wire hook tuned for light game: the thin, needle-sharp wire bites in on the lightest reaction takes and lets small soft plastics move with a free, natural action — exactly what finicky aji and mekki want.
